Xiang Long is a registered U.S. patent attorney. Prior to founding Metis IP LLC, Dr. Long was an attorney with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati (WSGR), and then founded a patent litigation boutique firm, Agility IP Law, with Jim Otteson whom was in charge of the 337 Investigation department in WSGR. Dr. Long’s practice has focused on patent litigation before the United States International Trade Commission (the ITC) and in federal district courts in the U.S. He has litigated cases involving a variety of technologies including semiconductors, computer hardware and software, nutritional supplements, and consumer electronics. Combining his knowledge of China and the U.S., Dr. Long has been able to bridge the often challenging divide between China and its foreign partners on IP-related issues.
